Section 2501. Definition 

      In this chapter, the term "congressional defense committees"
    means - 
        (1) the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on
      Appropriations of the Senate; and
        (2) the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on
      Appropriations of the House of Representatives.
