PRESIDENTIAL DESIGNATION
Areas comprising the Quachita National Wildlife Preserve,
formerly known as the Muddy Creek Refuge, were designated by
Proclamations of Mar. 8, 1935 (49 Stat. 3439), and Oct. 29, 1938
(53 Stat. 2495).
